This blog has been created to document the planning and execution as it is happening, a bike ride across the USA for charity. I will update it on a regular basis to keep people informed and a tool for myself to keep going. Namaste.

The Art of Letting Go and EMS

My intention recently was not to worry about things I could not control. It has been very helpful. Now, I have been able to really focus more of my attention on the things that are within my control.

I received my t-shirts last Friday. I bought 50 and I think I have 8 left. Another order is being put in this week for another 50....maybe 100. Aticc Shop in New London, CT did the screen printing and my dear friend Jessie English did my logo. All the money that raise from the t's will go to charity. It is interesting, people have been asking me how I am funding this trip and whether I am independently wealthy? Good freakin' question!! Sponsors will be how I fund this trip as well as me saving my pennies and the fundraiser that I am holding on May 16 will be to fund my ride. With all those combined, I am going to be set!
I went into EMS yesterday. They were having a clearance sale and 40% of on top of that. I wound up getting over $300 worth of stuff for $130!!! Upon telling them what I am doing, they invited me to set a booth at their Club Day in April to continue raising money and support! WoooHOOOOO! Thank you John and Gerald from EMS in Waterford, CT.
Things are starting to piece together. I am set in Seattle for a place to stay. My friend Beau is got some connections with yoga studios so I can start teaching. Stay tuned for my schedule of the places that I will be teaching along the way.
My website is partially done....www.ridethewaveofchange.org. There ya have it ladies and gents...the name of my ride. If anyone wants a t-shirt email me and we can get you one of these awesome organic cotton t-shirts. I think that's it. I'm tired and getting a cold. Tulsi tea, a blanket and a movie perhaps. Where's the popcorn?
Peace, Light and Love,
